This might be the only case in which it is appropriate to have
"POOH" in your pool!
"POOH" in your pool!
(to catch some of you up...our daughter's nickname is "Pooh")We took Hania-Pooh to our neighborhood pool today, and it is official:
She is going to be a Fishy-Pooh!
She is going to be a Fishy-Pooh!
This was her first experience swimming!
She loved the water, and spent most of the time splashing and kicking.
She especially enjoyed laying on her tummy, and being pulled along.
Is it possible for hair to be ANY more red?
I crown thee, Princess Pooh.
Gentle Ruler of Kingdom Swim-Diaper.
Whoever invented those things is a genius...pure genius!

Our little mermaid is so adorable!
I see KIDS SEACAMP Cayman in her future!
Awww, she's so cute!!! Love the red hair! Only my 3rd was born with the Irish red hair, and it's gotten lighter over the last 2 years but still a good strawberry blond.
What a terrific swim buddy you two found. The princess's crown towel is a very nice touch - not that anyone who sees her would not recognise her regal status anyway. The bongo drum video is a hoot.
Thanks for checking us out! Gotta love those redheads. Mine doesn't really have the temperament to match...he's very easy going, but he definitely knows what he wants and since we're closing in on birthday #2, it probably won't get any easier. I feel you on the slacker parenting thing. May I just say...Noggin Channel!!! Fabulous distraction when I need to get something quick done.
Oh, she's ADORABLE!! Look at all of those delicious rolls! I'm lovin' her suit. Super sassy.
OMG! Sooo cute and her little suit is so adorable! I need one in my size. Don't think I'd look as good though.
Hania is so cute! I think she is the cutest little fish I ever saw! I love to see her escapades everyday! :) I can't wait to take her to the pool...we are going to have fun fun fun!
You're a funny girl! I agree that the inventor of those swim diapers was a genius.
Think about it. They're probably way cheaper to make than the regular diapers. There's really nothing in there to absorb anything. And they sell them for way more (per diaper) than regular diapers.
Anyway to answer your question...It's really not hard to get the fabric flat. The key is to find a piece where the seat is removable. Then you just kind of wrap it like a package except you don't cover to bottom and secure it in place with a staple gun. Attach one side underneath and then stretch the fabric over the seat and attach it to the other side. It's way harder to explain than it is to do.
I think I'm going to do a tutorial post soon. Seeing pictures will help. A lot of people have been asking this kind of question.
Oh my gosh, her towel and swimsuit are to die for! SO cute!!
