High maintenance

I just can't figure out WHY our precious baby has been high maintenance since she's been back from visiting Poohma & Poohpa.

It wasn't like she was doted upon for a week.

It wasn't like her every need was met in a matter of seconds.

It wasn't like everyone spent 100% of their time attempting to entertain her.

I mean, are those freakin' spirit fingers, for goodness sake?!?
You know you're in deep when you're breaking out the spirit fingers!

Let's just file that one away under "dorky things you do as a mommy"
and not speak of it again, shall we?
Some of us have an image to maintain.

This pictures are so funny. 3 people taking care of one baby. Kind of sounds familiar. Aren't spirit fingers technically supposed to up above your head in the air?

Ok, I HOPE spirit fingers have some reference to cheer-leading, and not the distilled kind. Oh the foolish things we parents do for our little ones! What's really fun, is to do that when they are teenagers, with friends over!

Hahaha...I'm laughing at your pics as much as I am at my dad's comment above! :P
Hania is just so cute its hard to do anything but pay attention to her...that's not really high maintenance is it? Hehe...

I won't tell of your "dorky mom things" if you won't tell of mine.
I am learning that I have a lot thanks to our new video camera.

Ahh...the spirit fingers!! My child has been "victimized" by this strange phenomenon too....but not by me, oh no....NEVER!! Haha!! I miss these younger years of my daughter....they are precious memories...and I must admit, the spirit fingers still appear every now and then, just ask Ky!! Funny what motherhood does to us!! You crack me up!

The things we will do to get one little precious smile or giggle!!! I'm sure I look like quite the idiot - pretty much all the time!

Thanks for visiting my blog again. I totally didn't recognize your name at first from your comment, but I know I've been here plenty of times before. Your blog is so cute. And your baby...let's discuss since we both have redheads, how great and fun they are, not to mention red hair ups the cuteness factor by a kajillion. Who needs blondes and brunettes anyway? I think I might add you to my ever expanding blogroll. If that's okay.

What can we say....the Poohlicious one is deserving of all the attention! When Hania comes to visit "Grandpa is the name, and spoiling is the game"!

oh, a cheerleader at heart - sad to admit it - :)

We will just pretend that none of us have ever done spirit fingers to get a child to smile - it is really just our wiley charms that do it
